CHI-Freshwater
CHI-Freshwater monitors how state ecosystems fare under different hydrologic conditions, and makes the information available and accessible to the general public. CHI-Freshwater has been launched at eleven UC NRS reserves and two UC Agriculture and Natural Resources field stations with a $2.18 million grant from the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation.
CHI-Coastal

CHI-Coastal seeks to integrate environmental monitoring and research across coastal protected areas in California. Research will forecast the fate of coastal waters and watersheds as coastal waters warm, fog patterns change, sea level rises, and human populations increase.
